DomainBrain, my handy utility for keeping track of server and login information, has just been updated. Version 1.1 lets you duplicate existing domain entries - great for making domain templates if you find yourself repeating the same info whenever you add a new domain. It also now offers contextual menus in the domain list, and adds an expiry date and a name server field to the Registrar category. The new version allows automagic retrieval of data for those two new fields from the WHOIS database with the click of a button.
DomainBrain 1.1 is a free upgrade for registered users. If you’re not a registered user, you can use DomainBrain for free with up to four domains, or purchase a license for $14 to keep track of info for unlimited domains. Head on over to the DomainBrain website for more info or to download the app.
I’d also like to thank everyone who has tried DomainBrain and given me feedback. There have been a lot of great suggestions, and I’ve made a note of all of them. So if you don’t see a feature you were hoping for in this update, don’t despair - I’ll be working my way through many of the requests as time goes on.
